Backstage
It is a wardrobe system that has the ambition to completely rethink the theme of containment, the distribution of internal spaces and the bedroom/closet relationship. Without hesitation, it can be said that the solutions achieved surpass existing typologies, bring a new look at a theme already widely explored and are rich in sophisticated details.
The innovative element, which modifies the use and perception of the traditional containment system, is the large-sized rototranslating door. Borrowed from the contemporary architectural language that sees the door as a full-height surface that disappears into the wall that hosts it and that, when open, is able to create large and continuous communications between the spaces, the Backstage door allows you to "enter" the wardrobe making it completely accessible, to the point of assimilating it to a walk-in closet.
Designed in three widths (72.5 cm, 85 cm, 97.5 cm), the door opens with a movement that makes it partially retract and offers both the elegance of large dimensions and the possibility of being placed even in spaces that are not excessively deep. The new scansion of the façade means that, where previously it was necessary to open several doors to have access to the contents of a 145/170/195 cm wide wardrobe, today with the opening of just two doors the interior opens up and becomes easily usable.
The interior space finds new divisions based on the retractable mechanism, with an exploitation and rationalization of the entire area with shelves, clothes rails, chest of drawers (on whose top it is possible to place empty-pocket trays) and shirt rack. The equipment positioned on the door is added: storage trays, adjustable mirror, belt holder and jewelry holder. Low-consumption LED lighting fixtures, which turn on when the doors are opened, are placed on the shelves, at the base and on the ceiling: a scenographic presence that has the function of favoring the visibility of all the areas. The wood, leather and metal finishes and the details define Backstage as a refined product, reserved for a demanding clientele who appreciates high quality.
The doors are available in sucupira wood, or lacquered in 16 colours with a semi-gloss shellac effect or satin finish.
The interior boasts leather shelves and trays, nickel-plated bronzed painted drawers, dove-grey and colonial-coloured melamine leather or melamine sucupira structure surfaces. An important detail is the handles, placed on the front so as to match each other. There are two variants to choose from, one protruding, the other recessed, both with leather inserts (dark brown or colonial) or bronzed nickel.
The system has two depths: 66 cm and 85 cm. If you want to obtain a custom solution, a series of adjustments make the product tailor-made. All the features and equipment of the Backstage wardrobes can be transferred to the creation of closets, which can also be equipped with a completely closed volume inside to store out-of-season garments.
