Organic Chair

With a sculptural and biomorphic design, Vitra's iconic Organic Chair is a comfortable reading seat that combines the comfort of an armchair with the elegance and practicality of a conference chair.

Designed by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen in 1940 for the Organic Design in Home Furnishings competition at the MoMA in New York, the seat brings back the soft forms typical of organic design in a project ideal for conference venues but also for domestic environments.
