Stool 60

A great classic of 20th century design, the Stool 60 designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933 is a piece as elementary in form as it is universal in use. Characterized by the distinctive wood bending process that gives shape to the characteristic L-shaped legs, the Stool 60 can be used indifferently as a seat, table, container or display surface.

Heir to the modernist ideals of the period, it is characterized by an essential geometry that guarantees versatility and functionality, as well as making it conveniently stackable. Produced continuously since 1933, the Stool 60 has changed almost nothing in terms of either material or shape, yet it continues to transcend time and fashion.
